Get Started Building Your Own System:
Consider Your Own Profit Objectives and Risk Tolerance

 

Continental Trading Strategies gives you all the tools you need to customize a trading system tuned to your personal financial strategy. However, the risk of loss in trading commodities can be substantial. You should therefore carefully consider whether such trading is suitable for you in light of your financial condition.   Follow the three steps below to begin the customization process.

Step 1:  Strategy Review

Review the details of our proprietary trading strategies on the Strategy Overview and Diamond / Platinum detail pages.  Note that either strategy can be combined with any of the four major Equity Futures Products:

E-Mini S&P 500
E-Mini Nasdaq 100
E-Mini Dow
E-Mini Russell 2000

If you are currently unfamiliar with these products visit the equity index page at the CME Group website for detailed information.

Step 3:  Open an Account

Now that your system is built and customized with your desired parameters, get your system to market by opening an account.  Contact your broker for assistance.  If you do not currently have a broker, you can use the Clearing Firm Listing provided for you at The CME Group's website. Finally, complete and sign the Subscription Agreement and either fax (630-325-5197) or Email Us this form to finish the process.

Step 2:  Historical Analysis

Here is where the customization process begins.  Proceed to our System Evaluation Center and put together a system with historical data as your guide.  Test out various combinations of strategies and products with different contract sizes to fine tune a system that satisfies both your profit objectives and risk tolerance.  See the historical risk profile of each system you build and the theoretical returns based on past market performance.  Print a copy of the system parameters for a personal reference guide as you proceed to step 3.
